Rust Cases: skin names and item types

Compare case contents and each listed drop chance before opening. Demo mode lets you try an opening without receiving an item. Rust skins belong to specific weapons, clothing or deployable items. Similar artwork can appear on different items, so match the exact skin and item type.

  1. Pick a case

Filter by game or price, or search for an item you want. Each case card shows its price and a few of its best items.

  2. Check the odds

Open the case page to see every item, its value and its exact drop chance. Nothing is hidden behind the animation.

  3. Open it

One provably fair roll picks your item according to those chances. Open several at once or turn on fast mode if you prefer.

  4. Use your drop

The drop’s value goes straight to your balance. Upgrade it right away for a shot at something better, or use the balance to open more cases, play other games or buy items on the Market to withdraw to Steam.

Good to know

  • Skin artwork alone does not identify its item type.
  • Cheaper cases usually return smaller items more often. Cases with a wide spread of values can return far more or far less than their price.
  • Item values follow live market data, so a case price can move when its items do.

Questions

Can the same Rust design appear on different item types?

Yes. Check the exact skin name and its weapon, clothing or deployable type. A similar design does not identify the same item.

Can I open a case for free?

Yes. Switch on demo mode on any case page to try it without spending anything. Demo openings do not give you items.

Where does my item go?

Straight into your CS2Bolt items. From there you can keep it, sell it, use it in other games or withdraw it to Steam.

Does a case listing guarantee an immediate Steam withdrawal?

No. A case lists possible drops and their chances. Withdrawal also depends on item availability, your account eligibility, any remaining wager requirement and Steam trade restrictions.

How do I know a case is fair?

Every opening comes from a provably fair roll you can recheck yourself on the provably fair page, using the seeds shown for that round.
