Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 September 2026
These terms explain the rules for using CS2Bolt. Please read them carefully. By signing in or using the site, you agree to them.
1. About these terms
1.1 These terms of service ("Terms") apply to the website CS2Bolt and all of its games and features (the "Service"). "We", "us" and "our" mean the operator of CS2Bolt. "You" means the person using the Service.
1.2 Our privacy policy and responsible gaming policy form part of these Terms. Rules shown on an individual game page also apply to that game.
2. Who can use CS2Bolt
2.1 You must be at least 18 years old, and old enough to take part in games of chance under the law of the place where you live. We may ask you to prove your age at any time.
2.2 You may only use the Service where doing so is legal for you. It is your responsibility to check and follow the laws that apply to you. We may block access from any country or region.
2.3 You may not use the Service if you have excluded yourself from gambling, if we have closed a previous account of yours, or if you are acting on behalf of someone else.
3. Your account
3.1 You sign in with a Steam account. You may hold only one CS2Bolt account, and it is for your personal use only.
3.2 You are responsible for keeping your Steam account secure. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.
3.3 You must keep the Steam Trade URL in your settings correct. We are not responsible for items sent to a Trade URL you gave us.
4. Balance and items
4.1 Your balance is a site credit shown in US dollars. It can be used to play games and to obtain items listed on the site. It is not money, it has no value outside the Service, it does not earn interest, and it cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another person.
4.2 Item values are based on sale data from third party marketplaces. Values can change at any time, and the value shown on CS2Bolt may differ from prices elsewhere.
4.3 Items you win are held in your CS2Bolt items until you use, sell or withdraw them.
4.4 If an item or balance is credited to you by mistake, for example because of a technical fault or a pricing error, we may correct or remove it.
5. Deposits
5.1 You deposit by sending accepted, tradable Steam items through a Steam trade offer from our system. Only items we accept, worth at least the minimum shown on the deposit page, can be deposited.
5.2 A deposit is credited once the trade is complete. Items covered by Steam Trade Protection are credited only after the protection period has ended and the trade is confirmed as final.
5.3 If a trade is reversed, cancelled or charged back after it was credited, we may remove the credited balance or items from your account and recover any loss.
6. Withdrawals
6.1 You can request to withdraw items you hold on CS2Bolt. Items are sent by Steam trade offer to your saved Trade URL.
6.2 Withdrawals may be reviewed before they are sent, and we may ask you to verify your identity or age first. Steam may apply its own trade holds, which we cannot control.
6.3 If an item becomes unavailable before it is sent, we may offer a similar item or return its value to your balance.
7. Games and results
7.1 All games are games of chance. You can lose everything you wager. Past results do not affect future ones.
7.2 Results are decided by our provably fair system, explained on the provably fair page. Once a round is settled, its result is final.
7.3 If a malfunction, bug or error affects a round, that round and any payout from it are void, and any wager lost because of the fault is returned.
7.4 We may change, pause or remove any game, and may set minimum and maximum wagers.
8. Fair use and prohibited conduct
8.1 You must not:
- open or use more than one account, or use someone else's account;
- use bots, scripts or other automation to play, other than features we provide;
- exploit bugs, errors or pricing mistakes, or fail to report ones you find;
- collude with other players or manipulate games, prices or the market;
- use the Service for fraud, money laundering or any other illegal purpose, or use items or funds that are not lawfully yours;
- hide your location to get around restrictions;
- harass, threaten or abuse other players or our staff, or post unlawful or offensive content.
8.2 If we reasonably believe you have broken this section, we may void affected rounds, withhold or remove winnings, and suspend or close your account.
9. Community content
9.1 Content you create on the Service, such as community cases, names and artwork choices, must not break the law or anyone's rights.
9.2 You give us a free, worldwide licence to display and use that content to run and promote the Service. We may remove any content at any time.
9.3 Creator earnings are paid as site balance as described on the Case Creator page. We may withhold earnings from cases that break these Terms.
10. Suspension and closing accounts
10.1 You can close your account or take a break from gambling at any time by contacting us, as described in our responsible gaming policy.
10.2 We may suspend or close an account if the law requires it, to protect players or the Service, or if these Terms are broken.
10.3 When an account is closed, you may withdraw items you hold, unless they are connected to a breach of these Terms or we are legally required to hold them.
11. Intellectual property
11.1 The Service, its design, software and content belong to us or our licensors. You may use the Service for your own personal entertainment only.
11.2 CS2Bolt is not affiliated with Valve Corporation or Facepunch Studios. Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, Team Fortress 2 and Steam are trademarks of Valve Corporation. Rust is a trademark of Facepunch Studios. Item names and images belong to their owners.
12. Liability
12.1 The Service is provided as it is and as available. We do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors.
12.2 We are not responsible for losses caused by Steam, by third party services, by events outside our reasonable control, or by your breach of these Terms.
12.3 To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the value of the balance and items held in your account when the claim arose.
12.4 Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.
13. Changes
13.1 We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change is significant, we will tell you on the site before it takes effect. By continuing to use the Service after that, you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law and complaints
14.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Malta. The courts of Malta have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any mandatory rights you have to bring a claim where you live.
14.2 If you have a complaint, contact us first by opening a ticket on our support page. We aim to reply within 10 working days.
14.3 If a part of these Terms is found to be invalid, the rest continues to apply.
