Getting started
What is CS2Bolt?
CS2Bolt is a skin gaming site for Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, Rust and Team Fortress 2, with cases, case battles, an upgrader, coinflip, Plinko, Chicken Crossing and a case creator.
How do I sign in?
Click Sign in with Steam. Steam confirms who you are; we never see your Steam password.
How old do I need to be?
You must be 18 or older, and old enough to take part in games of chance where you live.
Is CS2Bolt affiliated with Valve?
No. CS2Bolt is an independent website and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve Corporation or Facepunch Studios.
Deposits and withdrawals
How do I deposit?
Open the deposit page, choose accepted tradable items from CS2, Dota 2, Rust or TF2 that meet the displayed minimum, then accept the Steam trade offer you requested.
Why is my deposit not showing yet?
For protected CS2 deposits, the full-credit option stays pending until protection is cleared and the trade is confirmed. If you choose partial credit, the portion shown on the deposit page is credited after acceptance and the remainder stays pending. A finished site countdown does not by itself confirm release by Steam.
How do I withdraw?
Choose items from the market or from your won items and request a withdrawal. They are sent by Steam trade offer to the Trade URL in your settings. You must meet any wager requirement shown in your account. Availability, account checks and Steam trade restrictions also apply.
Is my balance real money?
No. Your balance is site credit shown in US dollars. It can be used to play and to get items to withdraw, but it cannot be paid out as cash.
Fairness
Is CS2Bolt rigged?
No. Every result comes from a provably fair roll. The server commits to its secret before you play and reveals it afterwards, so you can recalculate any result yourself.
How do I verify a round?
Open the provably fair page. If you are signed in, pick a round from your history and it is checked instantly in your browser.
What is a client seed?
A value you control that is mixed into every roll. You can change it at any time in your settings.
Account and safety
Can I take a break or close my account?
Yes. Contact us to take a break or exclude yourself. See the responsible gaming page for details.
Will staff ever ask for my password?
Never. Nobody from CS2Bolt will ask for your Steam password, Steam Guard codes or API key.
Cases
Are these official CS2 cases?
No. CS2Bolt cases are our own drop lists built from real Steam items. They do not need keys and are not opened from your Steam inventory.
Can I open a case for free?
Yes. Switch on demo mode on any case page to try it without spending anything. Demo openings do not give you items.
Where does my item go?
Straight into your CS2Bolt items. From there you can keep it, sell it, use it in other games or withdraw it to Steam.
Does a case listing guarantee an immediate Steam withdrawal?
No. A case lists possible drops and their chances. Withdrawal also depends on item availability, your account eligibility, any remaining wager requirement and Steam trade restrictions.
How do I know a case is fair?
Every opening comes from a provably fair roll you can recheck yourself on the provably fair page, using the seeds shown for that round.
Case Battles
Where do my winnings go?
Your winning share is added directly to your CS2Bolt balance.
What happens if players tie?
Tied winners split the total opened value evenly. If both teams tie in 2 vs 2, all four players share the pot.
How does 2 vs 2 work?
The team with the highest combined total wins. Its teammates receive equal shares of the pot value.
What happens if a bot wins?
A bot’s share is not paid to players. Human winners still receive their own share.
Can I check a battle was fair?
Yes. Use Provably fair on a completed battle to verify each pull.
Upgrader
Is this the CS2 trade-up contract?
No. This is CS2Bolt’s upgrader, using up to three site inventory items and the chance displayed on the wheel.
Does choosing a worn skin improve my chance?
Wear alone does not decide the result. Compare the displayed input value, target value and final chance.
Can I aim for a knife or gloves?
Yes, when that target is available in Target items and is worth more than your selected inputs.
Looking for a CS:GO skin upgrader?
CS:GO is the earlier Counter-Strike name. This page uses CS2 skin listings: choose your items, compare the target and check the displayed upgrade chance.
Coinflip
Can I cancel a flip?
Yes. An open flip nobody has joined can be cancelled after a short wait, and your items are returned.
Why do stakes need to be close in value?
It keeps flips fair and exciting for both players. Your win chance still follows your exact share of the pot.
Can I play against the bot?
Yes. Turn on the bot option when creating a flip to be matched instantly with a bot using market items.
Plinko
Where do the multipliers come from?
Each combination of rows and risk has its own board, shown in full before you play.
Is every drop random?
Yes. Each drop uses its own provably fair roll, which decides the left or right bounce at every row.
Can I set a limit?
Yes. In auto play, set a loss limit and it stops as soon as that amount is lost.
Chicken Crossing
When should I cash out?
That is up to you. Every extra lane raises the reward and the risk, so decide on a target before you start.
Is the car random?
Yes. One provably fair roll made at the start decides how far the chicken can safely go.
Case Creator
How much can I earn?
You earn 1% of the case price for every paid opening, with no limit on how many opens a case can have.
Where do I find my cases?
Open the My cases tab to see your published cases and claim your earnings.
